Aesop Carl - The Embalmer, The Comfort Character // ::Home / Shrines
Aesop Carl
Aesop lived with Jerry. Truth be told, the lad had a gift for the work. But it was too early—he shouldn't have known such things. There's no real society in a mortuary. I saw him once talking to a coffin, like greeting a new neighbor. That boy needed to see the world.

Aesop Carl is a character that I use to help explore what it means to be different, yet still human. His struggle to connect to the world around him made be find comfort within him. At times I am told that I am blunt, show no emotion, or emotionally shut down due to stimuli. I, as well, struggle to not be anxious around ones that I do not know. Aesop's struggle with autism, and anxiety, is something I can relate to with my own.

This page, and the pages connected, are a love letter to him, and my expression through him, and the worlds that which he is connected to.
